This year is a crazy year for the Republican Party here in Texas and in Williamson County. On the Williamson County-wide ballots we have over 30 candidates! That’s a very large amount of people to keep up with!
Tomorrow we’ll be hosting our primary candidate forum in order to allow all the candidates in the Republican primary a venue to express why they feel they are best qualified to lead our county.
This years event will be held on Wednesday, January 27th in the Georgetown Public Library from 6:30-8:30PM. Candidates will be introduced and and given three minutes to give their platform speech and then 2 minutes to respond to questions from the audience. Afterwards we will have plenty of time for mingling and refreshments.
